Artist statement

My photographic work centers on capturing the essence of a person, viewing each model as a blank canvas that I have the privilege to transform through a blend of classical artistry and modern innovation. Inspired by my studies at art acedemy, I seek to fuse traditional painting techniques with contemporary photography, creating a dynamic interplay with hand-painted body art, intricate costumes, and styling that elevate each shoot into a creative ritual. I cherish the fleeting nature of these moments—the meticulous preparations that culminate in a photograph—preserving ephemeral beauty and emotion, much like a wizard sealing magic in an image. Inspiration for me is omnipresent, drawn from objects, moods, and colors that spark new ideas, and I believe that art’s true power lies in its ability to evoke positive emotion. Ultimately, whether through photography or painting, my goal is to channel energy and authenticity into my work, making each piece a reflection of genuine human expression and connection.
